Starting your Caribbean holiday

At the airport

Pay the entry fee ($20 per person), collect your luggage, customs (paperwork), meet the resort rep outside the airport, take the taxi or bus to the resort.

You will be met at the airport by a resort representative who will help you find your bus or taxi.

Resort reception

After a short drive through Puerto Plata and into the countryside to the West of the town you will arrive at the resort where you will be met by one of the many friendly members of the Lifestyles team.

Check-in

The concierge team will confirm your booking details and offer you a cocktail and snack while your check-in paperwork is prepared. You will need to present your passport and a credit card at check-in. The credit card is required to pay for your meal plan (the all-inclusive) and your safe deposit, should you require a key to lock the room safe (available for a reasonable $20USD per week).

Once you have signed the check-in paperwork you and your traveling companions will be given a wrist band that allows you to use the resort facilities and restaurants.

To the room / suite / villa

A bell boy will show you to your room and a concierge will meet you at the room and explain the procedure for booking in at the restaurants and provide you with a pack of leaflets for excursions provided through the resort.

There is full a maid service (in Villas only) which includes your breakfast being made to your requirements each morning at a time set by you.

Each day the maid will being fresh ingredients to your villa and have breakfast ready for when you get up… what could be better then waking to the smell of bacon and pancakes cooking?

Room service is also available (in Villas only); a menu of delicious food will be left in your villa. All you have to do if you don’t want to stray from the poolside is to choose, phone and wait for it to come to you.

Now you may think this is too good to be true but we can personally assure you that these are genuinely luxurious villas; we should know because we have stayed at them and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being so well cared for.
